In addition, the following can also be utilized to enhance usage:
- DSS console (LIP-DSS) - Used to expand the number of Flexible buttons available to a user by 48. It has a single LAN port. If the console is locally powered with the optional AC/DC power adapter, the LIP-DSS can be connected to the second LAN port of the LIP-24DH.
- IP Soft phone - An optional feature of the IP KTS is the IP Soft phone. The IP Soft phone is actually a virtual phone that appears on the users PC screen and enables them to make and receive calls without the need for a physical key set to be present. An IP soft phone should not be confused with CTI applications that effectively control a standard hard phone from a PC.
